A synthesis model for a phase-array. The operator simply enters the desired characteristics of the array, in terms of number of elements, spacings and amplitude taper (is desired) or simply select from a large list of standardized tapered arrays (uniform, binomial, Taylor, etc.). The model automatically calculates the correct coefficients and provides rectangular/polar plots for the array. Resulting coefficients can be saved and/or custom modified. Performance parameters for the array is given in tabular form and plot. This is a convenient tool for rapidly evaluating the performance of an array of elements with patterns plotted for rapid viewing. Product is available to run on Windows 2000, XP, 7 and Vista. The operator enters the characteristics for the Radar/ESM/EA with platform radar-cross-section (RCS) and altitudes. The model automatically calculates radar range, jamming versus radar power and EA effectiveness, burn-through and ES detection range. Various plots are provided for range versus radar-power; range versus radar return-power and EA power, and numerous other combinations. Horizon using curved or 4/3 earth models is also provided.
